As part of the internal Global Mobility team you will be supporting assignments in and out of the Middle East region.
The traditional mobility landscape has changed significantly in recent years and at PwC Middle East we have embarked on an exciting journey which will move us from traditional relocation of talent to a more holistic talent mobility offering. As a Centre of Excellence we always strive to innovate our mobility strategy and policies to reflect the constant changes in the mobility environment. Leading and driving the development of our programme will therefore be a big part of your role.
As a Global Mobility manager, the PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the end to end assignee lifecycle for the entire programme of approximately 500 assignees per year, from application and selection to relocation, performance management and repatriation
- Recommend the most appropriate assignment type and advice the business on Global Mobility principles, methodologies, policies and processes
- Justify recommendations, explain decisions, policy elements and pitfalls and provide cost estimates of various scenarios
- Lead the development of our strategic journey to establish a holistic mobility offering
- Oversee the adherence and development of our GM policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the firm and in the wider network
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Skills required:
- Minimum of five years experience of working with Global Mobility in operational and strategic / advisory roles
- Ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience in working with and leading teams in remote locations
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail combined with an ability to see the big picture
- Collaborative across teams, functions, departments and geographies
- Previous experience with Workday is an advantage
