Job Summary:
The Commercials and Contracts Lead is responsible for driving commercial excellence and ensuring the successful management of contracts with clients to deliver Managed Services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and other key stakeholders to negotiate and structure appropriate commercial agreements and contractual terms that align with business objectives to deliver value to clients
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Engages with internal stakeholders to align commercial strategies with business objectives
- Collaborates with client teams and the broader Solutioning function to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies for Managed Services pitches and proposals
- Drives a strategy to encourage pricing based on outputs and outcomes across Managed Service propositions
- Leads the negotiation and drafting of commercial structures with clients and client delivery teams for Managed Services
- Advises on the incorporation of contractual terms and SLAs into Managed Services contracts
- Monitors contract compliance and adherence to contractual obligation
- Identifies and mitigates potential risks associated with commercial contracts
- Ensures contracts are legally sound, mitigate risks, and protect the interests of Managed Services and PwC
- Works closely with internal Risk and Quality teams to ensure a robust suite of Managed Service contract templates is in place
- Upskills client delivery teams on optimal commercial structures for Managed Services
- Acts as a liaison point for commercial discussions with the broader Managed Services delivery centers
- Continuously provides guidance and support to teams regarding commercial and contractual matters

Minimum Education and Specific Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Management /Administration or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in Procurement, Business Management /Administration or equivalent from an accredited university is preferred Certifications in relevant domains (e.g. PMP or equivalent) would be advantageous
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience in a professional services environment or in a commercial specialist role with a leading firm, preferably in the Middle East region
