As Business Development, you will support the firm in identifying the whitespaces, penetrating new accounts and growing the largest accounts for PwC. This will involve working with the Industry Leaders, the Country Senior Partner and the account’s Global Relationship Partner, Engagement Partners active on the account, as well as their teams from across our different Lines of Service.PwC ME has Focus on 8 Industries, each Business Development team member will focus on an industry or more depending on the territory, market size and maturity. This should help the business development team member to develop her/his industry knowledge and trusted relationships.
Key responsibilities:
Work Closely with the Country Senior Partner / LoS / Industry Leaders on developing a Go2Market Strategy (i.e Identifying key targeted accounts & white spaces) in line with ME strategic objectives and focused areas.
Identifies , qualifies and secure business opportunities by Driving the full pursuit lifecycle, ahead of RFP issuing all the way to its post-decision analysis.
Overlook teams qualification discussions with engagement teams to drive opportunity acceleration and maximize win rate.
Helping the firm capture, analyze, and redistribute knowledge and intelligence
Reviews development of the appropriate reports, lenses and dashboards in Salesforce and PowerBI to derive the data and insight required to support the business and ensures accuracy
Building strategic / Quality relationships with key clients across the market.
Maintains a healthy pipeline (xLoS) by working closely with the LoS team and the industry leader.
Support priority accounts within the focused industry (GRPs/Account drivers and team) by providing insights and intelligence.
Requirements:
The candidate will be a highly motivated and a high performing individual with the ability to be flexible and adaptive on a daily basis
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Years of experience: 10-15 years in a quota carrying sales environment - preferably within a professional services Firm
Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is preferred (with some exceptions)
Proficient interpersonal skills including, passion, curiosity, collaborative working style, effective listening skills, professional presence, and empathy.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders and business functions.
Previous experience in strategy consulting or management consulting is a plus
Strong Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides skills, as well as more generally, being proficient in Microsoft office and G-Suite
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
Excellent organizational, time management, quality management, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize workload, work with senior stakeholders and perform under pressure
Knowledge of the Professional Services Industry is a plus
Understanding of the sales cycle and the required components to promote and drive a successful opportunity
Proficiency in Salesforce is an advantage
Proficiency in PowerBi is an advantage
Exposure to sales processes and commercial acumen preferred whilst being able to create meaningful business messages
