The Deals Financial Due Diligence team plays a critical role in managing complex financial due diligence projects for our clients related to mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions. As part of this team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial analysis of target insurance companies, assessing their financial health, and identifying key risks and opportunities.What to consider before applying

Responsibilities
As a Financial Due Diligence Director dedicated to the Insurance Sector, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy through to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee and execute comprehensive financial due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital increases and other strategic transactions within the insurance industry
Prepare detailed due diligence reports and present finding to stakeholders
Identify key risks and opportunities related to financial performance and regulatory changes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory updates, financial reporting updates, and market developments in the insurance sector in KSA and across the region
Monitor post-transaction integration and assess financial performance against projections
Assess compliance with industry regulations and financial reporting standards.
Mentor and guide junior team members on due diligence methodologies and industry-specific practices
Requirements
10+ years of experience in financial due diligence, focused in Insurance preferably from a professional services firm
Demonstrated experience in leading due diligence for complex transactions
Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment
Significant experience working on buy side, sell side and vendor due diligence transactions in the insurance sector
Deep understanding of insurance industry regulations, market dynamics, and financial reporting standards, primarily IFRS17 (strong knowledge of IFRS17 is a key requirement)
CPA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification required
Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects
Evidence of leading on successful business development opportunities including client lead maturation, proposal development, and closing new business opportunities
Committed to developing client relationships with existing and potential clients
Proven ability to manage project workflows and deliver on time, take ownership of tasks and assignments and accept responsibility for outcomes
Confident communicator and can deliver messages with impact to a wide variety of audiences
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Digitally savvy, including strong data analytics capabilities, good knowledge of key data cleansing tools and data visualization tools
Your flexibility to travel 20-40% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients.
