Badri Management Consultancy has been named the Middle East’s top Actuarial & Risk consultancy firm for 2025 at the Intelligent Insurer Awards.

Held last week, the Intelligent Insurer Awards celebrated the remarkable achievements of leading insurers, reinsurers, brokers and consultants within the rapidly growing Middle Eastern and North African markets. The ceremony brought together nearly 180 esteemed guests from across the industry, with winners announced in 27 different categories.

The winners and runners-up (‘highly commended’) were decided by an independent panel of expert judges during a rigorous process of scoring and meetings. Each of the judges has an extensive background in the insurance sector.

In the only consultancy category, the top prize was scooped by Badri Management Consultancy, a UAE-headquartered consulting firm dedicated to actuarial services. Established in 2014, Badri has around 200 staff working from offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan.

Commenting on the recognition, Ali Asghar Bhuriwala, Co-Founder and Executive Director at Badri, stated: “This achievement is a testament to our proactive efforts in driving efficient risk management practices and raising the bar in the Middle Eastern and North African insurance markets. This achievement reflects our unwavering dedication to innovation, excellence, and delivering impactful solutions to our clients.”

“We proudly share this award with our dedicated team, whose endless hard work has strengthened our market presence.”

For Badri, the award comes shortly after the firm was named one of the leading insurance consulting firms in the Middle East by industry platform Consultancy.org.

Meanwhile, runner-up in the Actuarial & Risk category at the Intelligent Insurer Awards was EY, with other winners on the night including AM Best (Ratings Agency), Grant Thornton (Audit), Aon (Distributor), Marsh (Cyber Insurance), Clyde & Co (Law), and Guy Carpenter (Reinsurance Broker), and Zurich (Third Party Administrator).
