Dubai CyberForce Program names KPMG a certified provider

KPMG has officially become a Certified Provider for Penetration Testing services under the Dubai CyberForce Program.
The Dubai CyberForce Program is a collaboration between CREST, a global certifying body for penetration testing and incident response, and the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC).
The main goal of the Dubai CyberForce Program is to assures the provision of penetration testing and incident response to Dubai’s government, and semi-government and critical information infrastructure institutions. The program enables CREST-qualified individuals and those who work for CREST-accredited companies to register as cyber security service providers in order to serve these clients.
Now a Certified Provider, KPMG joins the group of companies (including Crowe and Grant Thornton) that are regarded as trusted advisors in the area of cyber, particularly in penetration testing and incident response.

Highlighting the need for a robust cyber infrastructure, recent analysis from the UAE Cyber Security Council found that the UAE is facing more than 200,000 daily cyberattacks targeting its strategic sectors. Government sectors were the primary target, accounting for 30% of attacks, while financial, banking, and education sectors each represented 7%. The attacks originate from a wide range of cyberterrorist groups.
