Efficio promotes Ali Suddle and Mohamed Abdullah to Director

International procurement consultancy Efficio has promoted Dubai-based members Ali Suddle and Mohamed Abdullah to Director.

Part of a 6-person cohort of leaders that made the step up from Principal to Director, Ali Suddle and Mohamed Abdullah have both played an important role in the growth of the Dubai and Middle East practice.

Ali has been with the consulting firm for close to a decade. He has experience delivering digital procurement, cost reduction and supply chain improvement projects in the UK, UAE and Saudi Arabia, serving clients in several sectors, including private equity, financial services and telecommunications. Earlier in his career, he worked for Efficio (relocated to Dubai in 2019) and Deloitte in the UK.

At Efficio, Ali focuses on delivering strategic sourcing, digital procurement, and supply chain localisation programmes for industry-leading companies within Saudi Arabia.

Mohamed meanwhile joined Efficio’s Dubai office in 2021, and has since grown into a leader in the firm’s capital and infrastructure sector practices. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of capital projects – he advises clients on planning and sourcing for major programmes, set up of new procurement functions and enhancement of operating models to enable successful delivery and operations.

He has provided procurement and supply chain advice to a wide array of global and regional clients in private and public sector including real estate, infrastructure, utilities, hospitality and tourism. Prior to Efficio, he worked for Deloitte and PwC, among others.
