PwC partners with Cynalytica to expand industrial cybersecurity capabilities

PwC and Cynalytica have signed a strategic partnership aimed at improving cybersecurity capabilities in the Middle East’s industrial sector.

With industrial sectors facing increased cyber risks, the collaboration brings together PwC’s expertise in cybersecurity and Cynalytica’s technology solutions to provide industrial companies with real-time threat detection for their industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, with a significant presence in the Middle East, PwC is one of the region’s largest professional services firms. US-headquartered Cynalytica meanwhile specializes in industrial control system protection. Its cyber platform offers visibility across legacy ICS and hybrid OT networks without disrupting operations.

Unveiled at GISEC Global, a global conference for cybersecurity leaders currently taking place in Dubai, PwC and Cynalytica said that the collaboration in the Middle East marks the beginning of an expanded collaboration across other regions including North America and Europe.
