Haziq Neshat Akhtar joins management consultancy athGADLANG as partner

Regional management consulting firm athGADLANG has strengthened its team with Haziq Neshat Akhtar, who will oversee the firm’s Advisory services team in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Appointed a partner at Wathiq, a member firm of athGADLANG with four offices in the Middle East, Haziq will help the consulting firm expand its business in Saudi Arabia (office in Riyadh) and Bahrain (Manama), while supporting the firm’s other hubs in the UAE (Dubai) and Oman (Muscat).

With approximately 17 years of experience under his belt, Haziq brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in topics including risk advisory, internal audit, cyber security, data protection, Shariah audits, ESG, financial crimes and transaction advisory.

Haziq has been a consultant throughout his career and has held partnership positions at both BDO and Forvis Mazars. He also played a senior role in growing the advisory unit of Grant Thornton in Pakistan. In between his time at the global professional services firms, he held internal audit focused leadership roles at SJ&G Pharmaceutical Group and Gerry’s Group.
