Shiraz Saleemi joins senior team of tax advisory specialist Dhruva

Tax-focused advisory firm Dhruva has strengthened its team in the UAE with Shiraz Saleemi, who has joined as an Associate Partner in Abu Dhabi.
Shiraz Saleemi brings more than 13 years of experience in UK, Europe and the UAE to the firm having worked in consulting and industry. He joins the Indirect Tax practice of Dhruva, advising on all aspects of indirect taxation.
“Having seen the growth journey firsthand of Dhruva since its inception in 2017, Dhruva has developed an excellent reputation in the market for creating deep long-lasting client relationships and offering a personalized service. I am extremely excited to be part of the team and to work closely with clients in understanding their unique tax needs and developing tailored solutions,” said Saleemi on his move to the 125-strong firm.
Dhruva started its Middle East journey in Dubai in 2017 with a focus on indirect tax services. Since then, the specialist consulting firm has expanded into other segments (including corporate tax and transfer pricing) and grown into one of the region’s largest pure-play firms in the tax advisory landscape. Dhruva currently operates out of offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and has recently opened an office in Riyadh.
Saleemi moved to the UAE since 2016 from the UK and has undertaken various consulting and industry roles in the past nine years. Most recently at EY, he focused on engagements in the public and government sector.
