Kearney appoints Darren Perrin as partner in Abu Dhabi office

Kearney has strengthened its leadership team with Darren Perrin, who has joined the firm as a partner in the Abu Dhabi office.
Darren Perrin brings over 25 years of experience in sustainability and public sector – from shaping circular economies to advising on landmark projects like NEOM – to Kearney, one of the region’s leading strategic consulting firms.
Having relocated from London, where Perrin was a partner at Roland Berger, he has now settled in at Kearney. “I appreciate the blend of ambition and collaboration here at Kearney. And I like being part of a company that genuinely looks after your welfare, is supportive, and is made up of happy, friendly, nice people.”
Perrin began his career in waste management following a PhD focused on household recycling behavior and government recycling systems. Since then, his work shaping national waste strategies has included the rewarding experience of training more than 2,000 professionals globally in waste management training courses he designed.
Other highlights of his career include helping Ricardo (where he spent six years) enter new markets in Australia and the Middle East and facilitating high-level debates at COP28 on the role of waste in climate change, where he engaged with global leaders on advancing sustainable consumption and circular economy.
At Roland Berger, Perrin advised national and municipal governments, regulators, C-suite leaders, and large-scale developments – including the planned Saudi Arabia city NEOM – on designing and implementing integrated waste management systems, circular economy strategies, and environmental policy. Earlier in his career, he also worked for engineering group Jacobs.
Based out of Abu Dhabi, Perrin will operate across the region, helping Kearney expand its track record in areas such as sustainability in the built environment, waste management, and environmental policy.
Abu Dhabi is one of Kearney’s five offices in the Middle East.
