FTI Consulting appoints Antoine Nasr as Head of Middle East business

FTI Consulting has named Antoine Nasr as its new Head of Middle East, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to long-term growth in the region and strengthening its market leadership across its core service lines in the Middle East.

Antoine Nasr assumes the leadership role from Vikas Papriwal, who served as Head of Middle East since 2022 and will now lead FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance and Restructuring practice in the Middle East.

Nasr, who joined FTI Consulting in early 2023 and previously held lead leadership roles at Kearney and Strategy&, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience across the GCC. He has built strong client relationships, especially within the public sector, and played a key role in shaping the firm's strategic direction in the Middle East after being appointed as the leader of the Strategy & Transformation practice in November 2024, a role which he will continue to undertake.

Nasr’s leadership is expected to in the Middle East, which is considered a key market for the globally operating group (8,100 employees in 33 countries).

Over the past few years, FTI Consulting has grown both headcount and revenue in the Middle East, driven by significant momentum across practice areas.

FTI Consulting is a market leader in the telecoms, media and technology space from both a traditional advisory perspective and in advising clients in the TMT space on their M&A needs through FTI Capital Advisors. The firm is also a leader in public sector advisory, advising the governments on their most important strategic objectives.

The consultancy has been deeply involved in some of the largest restructuring engagements in KSA and the Gulf, coupling this with additional corporate finance disciplines across the Middle East including valuations, transaction services and corporate tax.

The firm meanwhile is market leader for providing services to the legal community, across digital forensics, investigations, damages and expert witness work and in the construction, projects and assets space. All of these services are underpinned by a strategic communications practice that has recently secured major mandates, including a significant engagement with a leading Sovereign Wealth Fund.

The firm’s client portfolio and team has seen FTI Consulting expand its regional footprint with new offices in KAFD Riyadh, which serves as its regional headquarters (the firm obtained its RHQ licence for KSA in 2023), as well as DIFC in Dubai, the ADGM in Abu Dhabi and Qatar.

In the coming months, FTI Consulting will continue to scale in areas such as healthcare, transport & logistics, financial services, and strategy & transformation, with senior hires lined up to join the business.
