Regional sustainability consultancy Sustainable Square has hired Neil Mackintosh as Senior UX Designer for its Squarely solution.

Bringing over 25 years of experience in the development of digital products and platforms, Neil Mackintosh has been handed the remit to expand and enhance the design, functionality, and user experience of Squarely.

Mackintosh has worked with numerous corporates, start-ups and high-growth ventures, including several in Silicon Valley’s technology sector, on applying human-centered design principles to ensure their digital products are aligned with customer demands. Having spent most of his career in San Francisco and London, Mackintosh has now relocated to Dubai.

Squarely is a solution from Sustainable Square that leverages smart automation and artificial intelligence to help organizations streamline their ESG reporting. The platform supports reporting for frameworks like GRI, ISSB, and CSRD, and provides data-driven insights that can fuel better sustainability-related decision-making.

“At Squarely, we’re applying international user experience standards to build a platform that supports users at every stage of their ESG journey,” Mackintosh said. “My experience in Silicon Valley emphasized clarity, usability, and customer-first thinking – values that now inform how we shape every interaction inside Squarely.”

Last month, Omani investor signed a major agreement with Sustainable Square on ESG services, including its use of the Squarely platform.
