Oliver Wyman names Abdulelah AlBarrak as Head of its Riyadh office

Oliver Wyman has named Abdulelah AlBarrak as Head of its Riyadh office, responsible for driving the hub’s strategy, growth, talent development, and client impact.
Around 18 months after joining the global strategy and management consulting firm, Abdulelah AlBarrak has now been handed the reins of Oliver Wyman’s Riyadh office – a key hub in the firm’s six-strong office network in the Middle East.
AlBarrak is an alumnus of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. He additionally has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and Northwestern University.
At Oliver Wyman, he is a partner and a member of the Government & Public Institutions practice. He has expertise in strategy advisory, national economic development, business plan development, operating model design, transformation programs, digital innovation, and AI-powered public initiatives, having worked closely with government institutions, public sector entities, and sovereign wealth funds.
AlBarrak’s expertise extends across diverse public sector domains, including government efficiency, human resources initiatives, asset management, investment advisory, culture, tourism, and entertainment.
