Dubai-headquartered project development consultancy CSQ has been named one of the UAE’s top employers in an independent benchmark.

Conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute, CSQ has been lauded for its company culture, the growth and development opportunities it offers its staff, and its employee experience. The independent review further spotlighted high trust in CSQ’s leadership, a strong sense of belonging, and a shared pride in the mission.

Craig Carter, Partner at CSQ, said the firm is delighted with the recognition, which is notably only handed out to 100 or so companies in the United Arab Emirates. Research from the Great Place to Work Institute and many others has consistently shown that employers with leading HR policies outperform their peers on multiple facets, including productivity, talent attraction and retention, and ultimately, financial returns.

“In an industry known for pressure, precision, and high performance, we’ve been intentional about creating a culture that doesn’t compromise on humanity,” said Carter. “This recognition is a reflection of who we are. We’ve always said CSQ is built on partnerships, and that starts with our own people. We’ve built a team that looks out for each other, learns together, and takes pride in the work we do.”

“From day one, CSQ has focused on creating a culture where people feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether it’s through flexible working, mentorship opportunities, or just making time to celebrate wins, big or small, we worked hard to make sure people enjoy coming to work.”

CSQ was founded in 2015 in Dubai. Since then, the firm has grown into a 50-person team of chartered surveyors, project managers, consultants and engineers, working across offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and London. Regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, CSQ helps owners, builders and investors reduce the risks associated with their building projects.

Flagship clients the consultancy worked with in the region include Mubadala, Aldar, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, Standard Chartered, Gulf Related, Arabtec, Etihad Airways, ADQ and Abu Dhabi Ports Company.

Looking back and ahead

“As we celebrate our growth and 10th year in business, we’re definitely taking a moment to pause and recognise what we’ve built together so far,” noted Natalie Stephenson, Partner at CSQ. “We want CSQ to be a place where people feel they can grow and be themselves, and therefore, this recognition feels like we have achieved this goal.”

“But we know there is always room for improvement,” said Stephenson, to quickly add: “so we continue to listen and evolve as we do genuinely care. We strive to be the best we can be and will continue to pursue our ambition of building a workplace culture that is built on trust, respect and genuine care for its people.”
