BrazilDavies launches new office in Qatar's capital Doha
Davies has launched a new office in Qatar, its second hub in the Middle East.
With over 7,000 staff based across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Davies is a leading professional services and technology business dedicated to the financial services industry. The firm serves more than 1,500 clients, in segments including retail banking, corporate banking, capital markets, asset and wealth management, and insurance.
Having been operating in the Middle East for a while through its UAE office, which focuses on forensic risk and dispute resolution services, Davies has now expanded its presence in the region with a new office in Doha.
“We’ve had the honour of contributing to the development of the financial services sector in Qatar since 2021, With the opening of our new offices, we plan to build on this success, strengthening existing relationships and developing new partnerships across the banking, financial market infrastructure and regulatory sector,” said Ricky Maloney, Head of Davies in the GCC region.

The latest expansion marks yet another step in the growth journey of Davies. Over the past decade, Davies has completed 50+ acquisitions across the globe, including that of Sionic in 2021, which formed the foundation of the company’s consulting business.
In May this year, the London-headquartered group secured $370 million in new credit facilities from Blackstone to fund its organic and M&A growth strategy. This year, the group’s annual pro forma revenues are expected to top £1 billion for the first time in its history.
