Turkish corporate finance boutique Ozman & Co joins Alvarez & Marsal

Global consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal has expanded its M&A and corporate finance business in the Middle East with the addition of boutique player Ozman & Co.

Founded just under two years ago by Sinan Özman, an experienced investment banker and M&A advisor with 500+ deal mandates under his belt, Ozman & Co has since its inception grown into a 5-person advisory firm providing services across mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, venture capital, and lending.

Its portfolio of deals spans multiple sectors, including financial services, telecom, technology, food, energy, and industrials, with around half of its clients in Turkey, and the others coming from the Middle East (UAE, Iraq), Europe (Italy, Slovakia) and Asia (Uzbekistan).

“Since we’ve launched, we have built a strong team and acquired valuable mandates in Turkey and abroad,” noted company founder Sinan Özman, who previously worked at major banks and corporate finance houses.

Effective this month, Ozman & Co has joined Alvarez & Marsal, with over 10,000 staff in 40 countries one of the world’s larger management consulting firms.

Ozman & Co will integrate into the M&A and Corporate Finance of Alvarez & Marsal, and join the Turkish team based in Istanbul.

Alongside transactions and corporate finance, Alvarez & Marsal offers a wide range of other services in Turkey, including restructuring, disputes & resolution, capital projects and interim. The Turkish business is co-led by managing directors Altan Dinç and Eren Güra.
