Osama Al Hussain to lead expansion of CSQ in Saudi market

Dubai-headquartered project development consultancy CSQ has appointed a new Country Leader in Saudi Arabia, handing Osama Al Hussain the remit to expand the firm’s presence in the fast-paced market.

Osama Al Hussain comes on board with over a decade of experience in project management and commercial consultancy, all of which he gained in the professional services industry. After staring his career in the United Kingdom at engineering group AECOM, he then went on to work for Middle East-origin counterpart Dar.

Early 2022, Al Hussain crossed to CBRE to focus more on the delivery of real estate construction projects. At CBRE, he led and worked on projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, government, industrial, and data centers, and internally, he led the Projects service line in the KSA market, with responsibility for leadership, governance, oversight, profit & loss, business development, and team management.

Following a period leading a multi-billion-dollar construction project in the data center landscape, Al Hussain has now taken on his new challenge at CSQ– a 50-person consulting business that specialises in the delivery of construction programmes and projects.

“I’m excited to lead CSQ’s operations in the Kingdom and support its continued growth, drawing on my experience across diverse asset classes in the UK and GCC. Being on the ground in Riyadh, a city I connect with, allows me to witness the Kingdom’s transition firsthand and contribute meaningfully to its vibrant and dynamic real estate landscape through CSQ’s partner-led expertise.”

“We’re committed to delivering quality and long-term value in alignment with Vision 2030, and to building lasting partnerships that drive sustainable development across the Kingdom and the region.”

The appointment cements CSQ’s presence in Saudi Arabia, a market the firm has been serving since its inception in 2015. “We are thrilled to have Osama join our team, there is no one better to lead our operations in the Kingdom. His arrival will boost our already long-standing involvement in the Kingdom, supporting major real estate and infrastructure projects aligned with Vision 2030,” said Craig Carter, Partner at CSQ.

CSQ is headquartered in Dubai. Alongside Riyadh the consulting firm also has offices in Abu Dhabi and London, with a fifth location in Ras Al Khaimah set to be unveiled in the coming months.
