Abu Dhabi Fund for Development signs agreement with TRENDS Research & Advisory

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TRENDS Research & Advisory, with the aim to conduct joint research and thought leadership initiatives.

Established in 1971, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development is the UAE’s sovereign development finance institution that provides concessional loans and manages government grants to fund infrastructure and sustainable development projects in developing nations – spanning sectors like energy, transport, healthcare, water, agriculture, and education.

In its strategic planning and financing, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development follows a data-driven approach to policymaking – this is where market intelligence and research insights comes in.

Based out of Abu Dhabi, TRENDS Research & Advisory conducts market research at geopolitical, economic, and societal levels. Under the agreement, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development will seek to leverage these evidence-based insights to inform policy and investment decision-making.

Additionally, the two companies will also collaborate around joint publications, academic exchanges, co-hosted conferences, and workshops.
