FTI Consulting deepens Strategy & Transformation capabilities with senior hires
FTI Consulting has strengthened its reputation for delivering high-impact strategic counsel in the Middle East with the recruitment of a series of new senior hires.
In the first half of 2025, FTI Consulting welcomed new Managing Directors Amine Wehbe in the Financial Services practice, with a focus on development finance, Sercan Alturk in the Transport & Logistics practice (both based in Dubai), and Ghali Naji in the Public Sector team in Saudi Arabia. All three join from Kearney in the Middle East, bringing deep strategic consulting experience in their respective fields.
In their role at FTI Consulting, the new senior experts will help the firm meet growing client demand for transformation expertise across both the public and private sectors.
Antoine Nasr, Head of Middle East at FTI Consulting, said that the arrival of the trio signals the firm’s ambition to be a leading provider of strategy consulting services in the Middle East market. All three are members of the Strategy & Transformation practice.
“We’ve built a strong reputation in the Middle East for senior-led, hands-on strategy work,” said Nasr, who previously held lead leadership roles at Kearney and Strategy&. “The arrival of Amine, Sercan, and Ghali allows us to deepen our industry knowledge and get closer to issues that matter the most to our clients.”
The new hires
Amine Wehbe brings more than 10 years of experience advising development banks, sovereign funds and C-suite clients on trade, investment, and economic transformation.
Wehbe’s focus is timely. Traditionally led by the public sector, development finance is now under pressure to attract private and third sector capital. FTI Consulting’s Financial Services practice supports clients ranging from development banks to social impact investors, helping them to rethink capital mobilisation, de-risk operations and structure sustainable investment programs that deliver economic impact.
Sercan Alturk brings over 15 years of experience across Europe and the Middle East to the Transport & Logistics practice. He has deep experience in maritime, industrial logistics, investment planning, and infrastructure delivery.
FTI Consulting’s Transport & Logistics practice serves a broad client base, including transport authorities, logistics providers, and infrastructure operators, helping them build future-ready strategies, optimise operations, and navigate complex regulatory and geopolitical challenges. The team also advises clients on topics such as supply chain, urban mobility solutions, and logistics innovation.
Ghali Naji boosts FTI Consulting’s Public Sector practice in Saudi Arabia. With a background that straddles consulting and industry, Naji combines strategic thinking with practical execution. He has recently supported numerous national entities with strategic planning, policy development, and created executive offices across government and semi-government bodies.
In Saudi Arabia, FTI Consulting plays a key role in both the public and private sector. The firm obtained its Regional Headquarters License in early 2024.
