Fidem appoints Alexey Perkov as partner

Dubai-headquartered Fidem has expanded its partner team with the appointment of Alexey Perkov, who is based in the firm’s London office.

Founded in 2023, Fidem is a consulting firm specialising in dispute advisory, forensics and crises. The firm’s experts advise clients on financial, economic, and technical aspects in disputes, such as preparing expert reports and serving as expert witnesses, and support forensic work including corporate investigation, asset tracing, and financial crime forensics.

The appointment of Alexey Perkov, who brings more than 15 years of experience to the partnership, strengthens Fidem’s presence in Europe. Perkov has been based in London for several years crossing to Fidem from Kroll, where he was a member of the Forensic practice.

Perkov is a highly regarded testified expert with an expertise in business valuation, disputes advisory, damages estimations, construction projects advisory, forensic accounting and fraud investigations. He has advised clients in a wide range of industries including financial services, construction, real estate, metals, mining, insurance, manufacturing, telecom, IT, pharma and retail.

Throughout his career, Perkov has been appointed as an expert in a variety of cases including loss of profits, damages quantification in construction projects, shareholder disputes and transaction-related disputes.

Earlier, he worked in Moscow and Vienna, among others at Big Four firm KPMG. Commenting on his move, Perkov said: “I am excited to become a part of the team of professionals and strengthen Fidem’s position as a reliable partner in the most complex disputes.”

In April, Fidem was named a top 10 Expert Witness firm in the Oil & Gas industry by Global Arbitration Review, a platform for international arbitration specialists.
