NTT Data appoints Jafar Kuruniyan as CFO for Middle East and Africa

NTT Data has appointed Jafar Kuruniyan as the new Chief Financial Officer for its Middle East and Africa business unit.

Having been with NTT Data since 2009, Jafar Kuruniyan has over the years steadily advanced through the technology and business consulting organization, taking on several key roles including most recently serving as Vice President of Finance for the Middle East for the past five years.

Now, Kuruniyan is stepping into the shoes of Barry Curtin, who spent a dozen years in the Chief Financial Officer role for the Middle East and Africa and has decided to step down.

Kuruniyan holds a Master of Business Administration from Mahatma Gandhi University in India. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), credentialed by the Institute of Management Accountants in the United States.

The appointment sees Kuruniyan joins the Middle East and Africa Executive Leadership Team, which comprises leaders from across the firm’s network of offices, including Dubai (UAE) and Johannesburg (South Africa).
