Sumerge and Confluent event spotlights digital transformation and data
At an event hosted by Sumerge and Confluent, leaders from across the region came together to discuss how digital transformation and data-driven ways of working can help organizations enhance their operations and unlock new growth opportunities.
Held at the Ritz-Carlton in DIFC, discussions at the event highlighted how organizations are leveraging technology to rethink operations to achieve agility and efficiency, as well as build stronger customer experiences. Participants came from a wide variety of sectors, including government, banking, telecom, insurance, and enterprise sectors.
Leaders from Sumerge and Confluent shared insights on how modernization initiatives are reducing costs and improving speed to market, while new approaches to data are enabling faster decisions and powering intelligent services.
“The event reinforced the growing recognition that digital transformation is not just about adopting new technology, but about creating competitive advantage, improving citizen trust, and fueling sustainable growth across the Middle East,” said said Hassan El Sinbawy, CCO at Sumerge.
Headquartered in Cairo, Sumerge is an IT consulting and services company. The consulting firm also has offices in Dubai and Riyadh. Fellow co-host Confluent provides organizations with a data streaming platform, empowering them to facilitate the flow of data from databases and warehouses to analytical tools.
“Real-time data is reshaping how businesses create value,” said El Sinbawy. “Our customers are leveraging streaming architectures not only to modernize legacy systems, but to unlock new opportunities, make faster, smarter decisions, and deliver richer, more responsive experiences to their own customers.”
