AlixPartners welcomes Lancelot Sursock and Pietro Vecchiato to team
AlixPartners has boosted its senior team in the Middle East with the hires of Lancelot Sursock and Pietro Vecchiato.
Based in Dubai, Lancelot Sursock brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) sector to the management consulting firm.
He joins from Strategy&, where he was a Partner leading major regional accounts and launching the CFO Agenda platform for the TMT sector. Lancelot has also held senior roles at Kearney and Booz & Company, and has advised telecom operators, digital players, and public-sector organizations across the Middle East.
At AlixPartners, Sursock will focus on expanding the firm’s TMT offering in the Middle East region.
Pietro Vecchiato meanwhile brings nearly two decades of consulting and industry experience to AlixPartners. A former Partner at Boston Consulting Group and most recently Vice President at Hyphen, Vecchiato has advised government entities, sovereign wealth funds, and giga-project developers on strategy, implementation, and transformation.
At AlixPartners, Vecchiato’s mandate will be twofold: deepening the firm’s Real Estate & Construction practice in the Saudi market, and supporting the expansion of the firm’s presence in the Kingdom. Vecchiato is based in Riyadh office.

The double hire comes shortly after AlixPartners appointed Irfan Bidiwala as its new Middle East Market Leader, succeeding Gabriel Chahine. Bidiwala has been with AlixPartners since 2021 and relocated back to his roots from the firm’s Houston office in the US.
