Grant Thornton appoints Chris Quinn as partner in UAE business
Grant Thornton has appointed a new partner in the United Arab Emirates: Chris Quinn.
Chris Quinn brings over 20 years of experience to the firm’s Audit practice, with expertise in audit, tax, assurance and regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions. He joins from Baker Tilly, where he spent two decades in its Ilse of Man business. As part of his move, Quinn has relocated to Dubai.
Quinn has led audits for listed groups, fintech firms, regulated service providers, government bodies, e-gaming businesses, and pension funds, many of which span across the UK, Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle East. He has also served as the Head of Audit, where he was responsible for firmwide implementation and oversight of International Standards on Quality Management.
His portfolio has included two UK-listed groups and over ten licensed e-gaming clients, in addition to leading engagements subject to global regulatory oversight. In parallel, Quinn has acted as Director for multiple client companies, including those operating in the DFSA-regulated wealth management space in the DIFC.

In the UAE, Grant Thornton has around 800 staff working across offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. The firm is part of the multinational platform formed by Grant Thornton Advisors in January 2025.
