FTI Consulting appoints Tim Falconer as Managing Director
FTI Consulting has announced the appointment of Tim Falconer as a Managing Director in the firm’s Strategic Communications division.
Based in Dubai, Tim Falconer brings more than 25 years of experience in communications and journalism to the firm. He joins from Teneo, where he spent around eight years in its Communications practice, and before that, he was a partner at counterpart Bell Pottinger in its Dubai office.
Earlier, Falconer worked 15 years for The Wall Street Journal, latterly as Deputy Bureau Chief of its Middle East business.
In his role at FTI Consulting, Falconer will advise clients on strategic communications during high-stakes litigation, regulatory challenges and on communication and reputation during periods of transformation.
“As someone who has sat both sides of the tape recorder as a journalist and advisor, Tim brings a wealth of experience of how reputation critical events unfold, in the GCC’s dynamic and fast-moving media environment,” said Oliver Williams, Head of the Strategic Communications division in the Middle East at FTI Consulting.
