Crescar brings digital compliance tool CheckedSafe to Middle East region

Project management consultancy Crescar has become an authorised sales agent and service provider for CheckedSafe in the Middle East.

Developed in the United Kingdom, CheckedSafe is a platform that streamlines administrative processes by automating tasks and creating a digital audit trail with real-time reporting. This not only reduces the compliance burden but also optimises operations and lowers costs – all while ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.

Gary Hawthorne, Co-Founder of CheckedSafe, said the platform is designed to make compliance management simple and effective. “We purposely designed CheckedSafe to be simple, effective, and efficient. It’s one solution for a multitude of applications where compliance is needed. We’re well known in the UK for our success in the fleet management sector, but our partnership with Crescar in the Middle East opens the door to new opportunities.”

Through the collaboration, Crescar can now deliver a proven compliance tool to its clients in the Middle East. The consulting firm will support the deployment of the CheckedSafe system, conduct testing in live conditions, and ensure the platform is customised to meet both regional and company-specific requirements.

“This technology has the capacity to be a game-changer in the compliance domain,” said Russell Watmore, Business Operations and Performance Director at Crescar. “It will enable us to help our clients achieve easier compliance, greater transparency, and safer, more efficient operations.”

Inaugural project in Oman

The first joint project has already kicked off in Oman at a fleet operator, with vehicle fleets already live and successfully tested. “Our successful launch in Oman is setting a new benchmark for fleet safety and compliance across the Middle East,” said Hawthorne.

“But that is just the beginning. This project is laying the foundations for wider adoption across the region. Other sectors such as hospitality and real estate also stand to gain immensely from the automation and transparency this technology provides. We’re now looking ahead to new partnerships that will take this technology into an exciting next phase of growth for both companies.”

Crescar operates with two offices in the Middle East, based in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
