Wael Khoury named Doha Ambassador of human capital ecosystem Transform

Transform, a global human capital community, has appointed Wael Khoury as Lead Ambassador for its Doha chapter.

Headquartered in the US and operating globally, Transform is an ecosystem that connects leaders, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and investors that are active in the domains of human capital, human resources, and the future of work.

Wael Khoury, the Founder and Managing Director of Lopez Khoury & Associates, will now head Transform’s expansion in the Qatari market. “Through the Doha chapter of Transform, we aim to empower and unite leaders committed to driving real, lasting change across Qatar and the GCC.”

Khoury said that Transform will help leaders and practitioners enhance their insights, knowhow and capabilities, enabling them to better drive sustainable transformation in their roles. “Transformation must be human-centered and culturally grounded. Through Transform, we help embed lasting capability, culture, and impact – long after the transformation ends.”

Khoury brings extensive experience to the role. He has worked across the Middle East, Europe, and North America as a consultant with global firms like EY and Deloitte, and as a HR leader with organizations such as Ooredoo and Al Mana. In 2024, he founded Lopez Khoury & Associates – a Qatar Financial Centre-licensed firm that works on projects in HR strategy, transformation, leadership, learning, talent, and change management.

“Wael will lead Transform’s Doha chapter to connect business, government, and community leaders around a shared mission, shaping the future of people, organizations, and work in the region,” stated Transform in a post.

Meanwhile, Khoury also heads the GCC HR & Leadership Center, a peer network of more than 1,000 senior HR and business leaders across the Gulf, fostering collaboration and shared learning on leadership and transformation.
