KPMG deepens industrial cybersecurity capabilities with Dragos partnership
Further strengthening its cybersecurity portfolio, KPMG has signed a partnership with Dragos, a company specialized in cybersecurity for industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT).
The partnership deepens KPMG’s cybersecurity capabilities in the industrial and infrastructure landscape, including in segments such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, and transportation.
By bringing together KPMG’s cyber and operational technology expertise with the advanced capabilities of the Dragos Platform, the two companies will be able to better help their clients manage, detect, and respond to cyber threats. The Dragos Platform enables continuous monitoring and faster, data-driven responses to emerging threats.
Together, the companies can offer threat intelligence, advisory services, incident response support, specialized cybersecurity training, and managed services.
“As industrial systems become more interconnected, protecting operational technology has become a top priority for our clients. Our collaboration with Dragos enables us to bring advanced operational technology cybersecurity capabilities to the Middle East, empowering organizations to strengthen operational resilience and proactively manage cyber risks,” said Hossain Al Shedoki, Partner at KPMG and Global Head of Operational Technology.
“Leveraging Dragos’s deep expertise in ICS protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and OPC, we enable enhanced visibility, threat detection, and protection across critical industrial environments.”
Mayank Verma, Director Middle East at Dragos, added: “Industrial and critical infrastructure in the Middle East faces sophisticated threats at the same time they are modernizing at scale. This partnership enables organizations to address both imperatives – securing OT environments while advancing digital transformation with confidence.”
“KPMG’s regional expertise and advisory capabilities combined with Dragos’s technology, intelligence, and services provide the support today’s threat landscape demands.”
Earlier, KPMG also signed cyber-focused partnerships with Cyberani, Fortinet and CyberKnight. KPMG is one of the region’s leading players in the field.
