Global HR community Hacking HR launches Qatar chapter

Hacking HR, a global HR and future-of-work community, has launched its Qatar chapter, expanding its presence in the Middle East and reinforcing its mission to elevate the HR profession through collaboration, learning and innovation.

Founded in 2018, Hacking HR has grown into a global ecosystem with chapters in more than 40 cities worldwide. The network brings together HR professionals, business leaders, solution providers and practitioners interested in advancing the HR landscape. The community is open by design, welcoming those focused on learning, sharing knowledge, experimentation and the continuous evolution of the profession.

The launch of the Qatar chapter reflects growing demand in the country for insights and expert knowhow around human resources and the future of work. In Qatar, the chapter will focus on introducing global best practices and lessons to local leaders and practitioners, and contextualising these to organisational and workforce priorities in the Qatari market.

Activities confirmed for the coming period include curated roundtables, peer learning sessions and cross-sector discussions covering themes such as digital transformation, leadership, skills development and the evolving role of HR.

Leading the Qatar chapter is Wael Khoury, Founder and Managing Director of Lopez Khoury & Associates, a Doha-based human capital and organisational consulting firm. Khoury also leads the Doha chapter of Transform and the GCC HR & Leadership Center, and serves as an advisor to the annual HR Forum Qatar conference.
