Juan Sáez joins dispute resolution specialist Martello as senior partner

Martello, a UK-headquartered firm specialized in forensic advisory and dispute resolution, has hired Juan Sáez. Based out of Dubai, Sáez will spearhead the firm’s growth plans in the Middle East.

Established in 2019 in London, Martello supports clients at the intersection of complex disputes and high-stakes advisory. The firm operates with a core team of senior experts and maintains a large network of independent experts and advisors worldwide (around 500).

Juan Sáez has joined Martello as a senior partner, leading the firm’s operations in the Middle East. In a dual role, he will also oversee the company’s expansion across Latin America.

Sáez is a well-known construction expert in the region. He spent the past decade or so with Accuracy, where he was a partner and led its Dubai office.

He advises governments, developers, contractors, and funders on project advisory and dispute resolution, with a focus on major capital projects. Sáez has acted as an independent expert in complex, high-value disputes and is recognised by Lexology Index as a Global Elite Thought Leader in Arbitration since 2023.

Throughout his career, Sáez has worked across the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
