TransformationX promotes Sunil Albal to partner

TransformationX, a supply chain and procurement consultancy operating across the GCC, has promoted Sunil Albal to partner.

Sunil Albal has been with TransformationX since late 2024. Prior to this, he gained over a decade of experience at global consulting firms including Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Deloitte, KPMG and GEP.

In his new role as Partner, Albal will play a key role in driving TransformationX’s growth ambitions, while also taking leadership responsibility for internal matters such as capabilities, client management and talent development.

Arun Bruce (also ex-BCG) said that Albal’s promotion reflects the significant contribution he has made to the firm’s growth over the past year, as well as his consistent track record at TransformationX and earlier in his career. “Since joining TransformationX, Sunil has been instrumental in shaping client outcomes, while also contributing to the development of a strong culture focused on quality and long-term value creation.”

“Our growth in people mirrors the growth in our client engagements,” he added. “As organisations across the region navigate complexity, volatility, and large-scale transformation agendas, we are investing deliberately in leadership and talent to ensure we continue to deliver high-impact outcomes.”

Commenting on his career milestone, Albal noted that he is most looking forward to “shaping the impact we create for clients, while helping build a firm with an enduring culture, quality bar, and reputation across the region.”

The firm’s journey

Founded in 2022, TransformationX has quickly established itself as a successful challenger in the GCC’s consulting landscape in the areas of procurement, supply chain, and operating-model transformation.

The firm has expanded its portfolio of clients, grown its team to around 20 professionals, and bagged multiple awards for its impact. Last year, TransformationX was named a leading consulting firm by Consultancy.org, while one of its procurement projects was recognised for excellence by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

“With our strengthened leadership team and a deepening consulting bench, we are well positioned to support clients across the GCC as they pursue transformation programmes aligned with regional economic and industrial priorities,” noted Bruce.
