SUDO Consultants signs strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services

SUDO Consultants, a GCC-wide cloud consultancy firm, has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Established in 2026, SUDO Consultants is a cloud specialist dedicated to the AWS technology landscape. The firm helps its clients migrate their systems and applications to the AWS cloud, modernize their AWS infrastructure and adopt AWS tools in areas such as automation and artificial intelligence.

A Premier Tier AWS Services Partner, SUDO Consultants also has a managed services arm. From its offices in Dubai and Riyadh (launched last year), the firm works for enterprises and government entities across the region.

Deepening its partnership with AWS

Under the new strategic collaboration agreement, SUDO Consultants will work with AWS to help customers accelerate their cloud adoption journeys, modernize legacy systems, and build secure, scalable digital platforms powered by AWS’s regional infrastructure.

“Deepening our collaboration with AWS allows us to significantly expand the strategic support we provide to public and private sector entities across the Saudi Arabia,” said Hameedullah Khan, CEO of SUDO Consultants. “Together, we will help organizations adopt cloud, scale AI driven innovation, transform core processes securely, and accelerate their digital ambitions.”

AWS in the region

AWS is one of the world’s three largest cloud providers, alongside Microsoft and Google. In the GCC, AWS has two so-called ‘region’s (local data centre hubs): one in Bahrain (launched in July 2019), and another in the UAE (launched in August 2022). A third region in Saudi Arabia is planned for this year.

Last year, AWS signed similar collaboration deals with IBM Consulting and Zero&One.

According to a study by McKinsey & Company, growing cloud adoption can deliver more than $180 billion in value to the Middle East, both in the public and private sector, unlocking thousands of new jobs in the process.
