Crestview Strategy welcomes Kees Hoving as inaugural member of GCC Advisory Board
Crestview Strategy, an international communications and public affairs consultancy, has launched an Advisory Board in the GCC, onboarding the Dutchman Kees Hoving as its inaugural member.
Formerly the CEO for the Middle East and Africa at Deutsche Bank, Kees Hoving brings three decades of experience in financial services, deep regional expertise, and an extensive global network to Crestview Strategy.
Over the course of his banking career, Hoving has held senior leadership roles in transaction banking, corporate coverage, and regional management, working across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. During his 15 year tenure at Deutsche Bank, he rose to CEO of the Middle East & Africa, overseeing teams, client portfolios, and strategic growth initiatives.
Previously, he held roles at Bank of America, J.P. Morgan, ING and Royal Bank of Scotland, working across their offices in London, Frankfurt, Moscow and Amsterdam.
Since stepping down from his CEO role at Deutsche Bank in August last year, Hoving focuses on investing and advising, guiding companies and venture funds through growth phases, optimizing structure, capital raises, and value creation.
In his parttime role at Crestview Strategy, he will provide strategic counsel to the firm’s leadership team in the GCC and help identify opportunities for growth.
Headquartered in Canada, Crestview Strategy advises leaders in politics, government, and the private sector on public affairs. The firm’s office in Dubai is one of its 11 offices worldwide.
“The arrival of Kees is a proud moment for our business in the Gulf and testament to our commitment to our clients in the region,” said Alexander Wegner, Vice President and Head of Middle East at Crestview Strategy. “Our team supports clients across strategic communications and public affairs, advancing client interests to achieve winning outcomes. Kees will make an important contribution to our business here in the region.”
In the coming period, Crestview Strategy expects to welcome further members to its GCC Advisory Board.
