NorthStar Insights appoints Ahmed Kamel as Senior Advisor
NorthStar Insights, a political risk and communications consultancy headquartered in Dubai, has appointed Ahmed Kamel as Senior Advisor.
In his new role, Ahmed Kamel will advise clients of NorthStar Insights on market entry into the Gulf, capital markets positioning, and institutional investor engagement, while also introducing prospective clients to the firm’s broader suite of political risk, advisory and communications services.
With offices in Dubai, London and Singapore, NorthStar Insights is a firm specialized in geopolitical monitoring, market entry, risk mitigation, regulatory tracking, advocacy, and communications. The boutique consulting firm works for corporates, governments, investors, and family offices.
Kamel brings over 25 years of experience in banking and capital markets across the UAE and MENA to the firm He previously led the Investment & Wealth Management division at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), where he oversaw AED 16 billion ($4.5 billion) in assets under management and led the structuring of landmark transactions including a $500 million Green Sukuk and a $750 million Tier 1 Sukuk.
Earlier in his career, he worked across private banking, institutional advisory, and capital markets, enabling him to build deep relationships across GCC sovereign funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
