Omnix International, a digital transformation consultancy in the Middle East, has announced a partnership with AI solutions provider Dataiku.

Headquartered in the US, Dataiku offers a so-called orchestration layer for data and artificial intelligence solutions. Its platform sits above data platforms, cloud infrastructure and AI services, enabling teams to bring data together from systems across the enterprise in a single environment from which they can build, deploy and govern solutions.

The partnership with Dataiku will see Omnix International become an official partner of the company in the Middle East. Together, the companies will support organizations in the region with accelerating their AI adoption journey and create measurable business value from data.

Walid Gomaa, CEO of Omnix International, said: “This partnership with Dataiku aligns with our vision to be a trusted digital transformation partner to enable smarter data-driven organizations across the GCC region. With Dataiku’s AI platform, we can help our customers move beyond experimentation and adopt AI in a scalable, secure way that aligns with regional regulatory and operational requirements.”

For Dataiku, the collaboration will enable the company to expand its presence in the Middle East through the network of Omnix International. From its offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman, the IT consulting firm serves clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council.

“Across the GCC, organizations are under real pressure to move from AI experimentation to trusted, measurable impact,” said Sofian Benali, a Vice President at Dataiku. “Together, Dataiku and Omnix International will help customers operationalize responsible AI with the governance, confidence, and accountability required to scale.”

The focus of the partnership is on joint clients active in the public sector, financial services, energy, telecommunications, and utilities.

The AI adoption challenge

The partnership comes against a backdrop of significant investment in artificial intelligence, with a Strategy& report suggesting the technology could add billions to the GDP of GCC countries. However, this depends on organisations fully realising AI’s benefits – something that remains a key bottleneck. A recent Roland Berger report found that AI adoption maturity in the region is still relatively low.
