NorthStar Insights appoints Jonathan Mulligan as Senior Advisor
Continuing its string of senior appointments, NorthStar Insights has added communications executive Jonathan Mulligan to its Advisory Council.
Jonathan (Jonny) Mulligan began his career as a political adviser in Westminster and Brussels and has since built a career as an advisor to companies and global investors including Microsoft, Sony, Saudi Aramco, Mubadala, Unilever, Ovo, Cepsa and Abu Dhabi Ports, as well as the governments of the UK and UAE.
Mulligan has held senior roles with leading global communication groups including Edelman and Brunswick, where he ran multi-market mandates and led cross-functional teams across energy, renewables, technology and carbon markets.
As a member of the Advisory Council, Mulligan will support NorthStar Insights in its work with investors, corporates and governments. The appointment is part-time, alongside his role at Martello Partners. Mulligan is based between the Gulf and Europe.
“Jonny’s depth across capital markets and sustainability, combined with his long-standing work in the Gulf, Europe and North America strengthens our senior-led model,” said Arth Malani, Founder and CEO of NorthStar Insights.
“His global experience and understanding of the regional nuances are demonstrated with his work with investors, sovereign funds and global brands. Jonny will help our clients navigate complex shifts in capital markets, investor engagement, carbon and climate at a time of rapid change in the GCC and beyond.”
Commenting on his appointment, Mulligan said: “I am very impressed with how smart, sharp and the values that drive the NorthStar Insights team and the work they are delivering for their clients. I look forward to working closely with the team and bringing the insights and learnings to contribute to the success and growth of clients.”
