Deloitte names 27 new Middle East partners as the firm enters centennial year

Deloitte, a global accounting and consulting firm, has announced the admission of 27 new partners in its Middle East business, signalling the firm’s continued investment in leadership despite a complex geopolitical environment across the region.

Effective 1 June 2026, the new partners join the firm’s most senior leadership rank, assuming responsibility for helping shape Deloitte’s strategic direction, investments, and long-term success in the market.

The 2026 partner cohort includes professionals from across Deloitte’s service lines, including Audit & Assurance, Consulting, Financial Advisory, as well as the firm’s specialist brands, Monitor Deloitte (strategy consulting) and Deloitte Digital (technology-led transformation).

In the Middle East, Deloitte employs more than 7,000 partners and professionals, making it one of the region’s largest professional services firms. Its footprint spans 26 offices across 14 countries.

In a statement, Deloitte said the appointments reflect the firm’s “continued investment in one of its fastest-growing regions globally” and reinforce its focus on “building leadership capabilities to support clients navigating rapid economic, technological, and business transformation.”

The Big Four firm added that the expansion of its partnership was also driven by growing demand in hot segments of the market, including AI-enabled transformation, digital innovation, and large-scale economic modernisation programmes.

Mutasem Dajani, Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte in the Middle East, said: “The admission of new partners reflects our investment in the next generation of leaders who will help shape growth, innovation, and impact for our clients and communities across the region.”

100 years in the region

The announcement coincides with the start of Deloitte’s new financial year, which runs from June to May, and comes as the firm embarks on a landmark year in the region. Deloitte’s heritage in the Middle East dates back to 1926, when Saba & Co was founded (the firm later joined the Deloitte network). As a result, the firm marks 100 years in the region this year, giving it the longest heritage of the Big Four in the region.

“Deloitte’s centennial milestone marks 100 years of uninterrupted presence in the Middle East, reinforcing the firm’s long-standing commitment to supporting the region’s development, transformation, and future ambitions,” the firm noted in its statement.

At the global level, Deloitte was founded in 1845 by William Welch Deloitte in London.
