BCG promotes Andrea Nogara and Rami Rafih to senior partner in Riyadh
Global strategy and digital consulting firm Boston Consulting Group has promoted Andrea Nogara and Rami Rafih to managing director and senior partner – the firm’s most senior level. Both are based in Riyadh.
Andrea Nogara has been with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since 2011, joining the firm in its Italian business. He has deep experience in the industrial goods sector, from business planning to commercial strategy and operations. He advises clients on improving performance and operational transformation.
A member of the Industrial Goods practice, Nogara has been involved in many strategic and operational projects focusing on the construction and automotive industries. He has also led the implementation of lean production techniques for both commodity producers and manufacturers and has been involved in national and cross-border acquisitions.
Nogara transferred to BCG’s Dubai office in 2018, and recently relocated to the firm’s Riyadh office.
Rami Rafih leads BCG’s Global Advantage practice for Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa, having previously led the practice in the Middle East region. He is also a member of the Center for Geopolitics, the firm’s unit that advises multinational corporations on geopolitics, trade, investment, and economic competitiveness.
In his client work, Rafih focuses on public sector clients – he collaborates with government authorities and sovereign wealth funds on areas including investment attraction, supply chain reconfiguration, talent development, and housing and city/cluster development, with a strong focus on supporting private-sector growth and globalization.
Rafih has been with Boston Consulting Group for a dozen years.
Before joining Boston Consulting Group, both managing directors and senior partners gained experience at other strategy consultancies: Nogara at Bain & Company, while Rafih served Strategy& and Monitor Deloitte.
Commenting on the appointment, Philippe Cornette de Saint Cyr, managing director and senior partner and Head of the Riyadh office, said: “I am pleased to celebrate the promotions of Andrea and Rami. Each of them has contributed to the steady growth of our Riyadh office, supporting clients through complex priorities and helping teams deliver with consistency.”
