Praxis appoints Ameer Khan as Head of Fund Operations for GCC region
Praxis, a global provider of wealth-focused professional services, has appointed Ameer Khan as Head of Fund Operations for the GCC region.
Based in Dubai, the former consultant will spearhead the company’s fund operations across the GCC, which is one of the faster growing markets worldwide for fund administration services.
Fund administration services are the operational, accounting, reporting and compliance services that support investment funds. In its role as fund administrator, Praxis ensures that the funds of its clients – typically family offices and asset managers – run efficiently and meet their financial and regulatory obligations.
Praxis operates the offering in the Gulf through its Fund Administrator licence in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

Khan joins from rival Apex Group, where he worked for eight years and held several leadership roles in the funds domain. Earlier, he spent over a dozen years in the professional services landscape. At IT consulting giant Infosys, Khan led a team of professionals responsible for managing funds with assets under management of over $10 billion, and before that, he spent four years at the Indian member firm of PKF.
