BHM Capital launches its Consulting & AI-Enablement practice

BHM Capital, a Dubai-based investor and capital markets group, has launched its own consulting business to advise governments, institutions and corporate clients on AI-driven business transformation.

Established in 2006, BHM Capital has grown into one of the leading financial institutions in the UAE and the Gulf region. Regulated by the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA), BHM Capital provides a complete spectrum of financial services to corporate and individual clients, including asset management, market making, prime brokerage, financing and listings, crowdfunding, and debt restructuring.

That services portfolio has now been expanded with a consulting arm, which has been branded internally as the Consulting & AI-Enablement practice.

Hatim Al Atabani, CEO of the Business & Front Office of BHM Capital, said that the new offering will enable BHM Capital to diversify its services portfolio, deepen its client relationships, and position the company at the forefront of the region’s most disruptive force – artificial intelligence.

“The establishment of the Consulting & AI-Enablement practice marks another step in BHM Capital’s strategy to diversify its professional services portfolio while strengthening its role as a trusted partner to government, institutional, and corporate clients. This practice enables us to strengthen our collaboration with clients and deliver specialized consulting, advisory, and AI-enabled solutions.”

Commenting on the focus on AI, Al Atabani added: “AI is rapidly transforming the way organizations operate, creating new opportunities to improve productivity, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation. At BHM Capital, we see AI as a strategic pillar of our future growth and an essential tool for creating long-term value for our clients.”

Major win in the UAE

The Consulting & AI-Enablement practice has got off to a flying start, shortly after launch being named an officially approved and registered supplier under the ‘Consulting and Advisory Services’ category on the UAE Digital Procurement Platform. This registration enables the company to participate in consulting opportunities across UAE federal government entities, one of the biggest buyers of consulting services in the region.

The establishment comes on the back of a strong financial quarter for BHM Capital, having announced strong double-digit growth across key financial and operational indicators, including a 38% year-on-year increase in revenue to AED 61.9 million and a 22% year-on-year increase in net profit to AED 13.8 million. The firm also announced a 20% dividend windfall for its shareholders following a record year in 2025.
