Teneo appoints Daniel Hunt as Managing Director in Riyadh office

Teneo has welcomed a new senior leader in Saudi Arabia, appointing Daniel Hunt as a Managing Director in its Strategy & Communications business.

Based in Riyadh, Hunt advises government and corporate clients on strategy, public policy and communications, drawing on experience across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. He has been based in the Middle East for the past six years, working with major government, semi-government and private-sector institutions.

Hunt’s experience includes advising central government departments, economic regulators, portfolio companies and leading corporations across strategy, communications, capacity building and organisational change. He has also led targeted investment promotion programmes, including the launch of Saudi Arabia’s first special economic zone, which doubled the zone’s inward investment pipeline.

Prior to moving to the Middle East, Hunt was Chief of Staff in the Chairman’s Office at Santander in the UK, having previously held roles in corporate affairs at Santander and public policy at United Utilities Group. He began his career in the House of Commons.

Daniel Hunt holds an Master’s in Modern History from the University of St Andrews, and a Master of Studies and Doctor of Philosophy the University of Oxford.
