Dubai Studio City will tomorrow play host to Deloitte’s AI and analytics conference Experience Analytics, under this year’s theme “Me, Myself and AI.”

Professional services firm Deloitte will tomorrow welcome senior business executives for a one day conference on the latest trends in the artificial intelligence and analytics space, set to take place at Dubai Studio City’s Soundstage 3 from 9am. Held under this year’s theme ‘Me, Myself and AI’, the event and exhibition will across a range of sessions explore how AI technologies are not only impacting businesses but also the individual and society at large.

With a number of international and local speakers set to take the stage, the event will in addition to expert addresses and panel sessions feature immersive labs, a Future of Work escape room and a hackathon, as well as a hands-on interactive insight warehouse where clients, partners and Deloitte advisors will give Ted-X style micro-talks and provide live demonstrations of the latest in AI technologies. There will also be exhibition booths throughout the day.

Due for its fourth edition in London later this year, the Experience Analytics conference will make its Middle East debut with a focus of five key topics; The Adoption of AI: Human + Machine; Data & Cyber Security: Ethical, Private and Secure; The AI Revolution: Disrupting the Status Quo; The Customer Journey, and; AI for Good: Think Globally, Act Locally – with Deloitte now one of the world’s leading voices on the responsible development of AI.

“This year’s event is organised into five themes, and we encourage attendees to create their own personalised path across these themes in order to explore the topics which are important to them,” the firm states on its website. “Experience Analytics 2020 will provide you with a personalised experience, putting customer and societal concerns at the forefront, and better understanding AI’s impact on business, the future of work and the individual.”

Among the Deloitte leaders expected to make an appearance are partners Rajeev Lalwani, regional head for Strategy, Analytics and M&A, and Yousef Al-Barkawie, Analytics & Cognitive lead. “Very excited about Experience Analytics being run in Dubai for the first time!,” Al-Barkawie said on LinkedIn. “We're planning a highly interactive, experiential event for our key clients focusing on how AI is shaping our lives, changing the way we work, and impacting our future.”

The conference follows closely on the heels of the The Global Cybersecurity Forum held last week in Riyadh (described as the largest ever event of its kind), for which Deloitte served as an official Knowledge Partner. The forum brought together upwards of 1,200 delegates from across the world with more than 100 speakers appearing across 50-plus sessions, including Deloitte’s Sir Rob Wainwright, who joined the firm from Europol after nine years as an Executive Director.
