Changi Consulting hits 10-year Salesforce consulting milestone
Dubai-headquartered consultancy Changi Consulting has hit a milestone, celebrating ten years of partnering with Salesforce.
Changi Consulting launched in the UAE in 2010, when founder Ghassan Chkaiban stepped into his entrepreneurial shoes to build an independent consultancy. Fast forward a decade, and Changi Consulting is now one of the larger Salesforce Gold partners in the MENA region, serving clients from its hubs in Dubai and Malta.
“Since inception, we have been a passionate advocate of the Salesforce ecosystem and we truly believe that it's the best customer success platform out there,” said Chkaiban, who had previously gained years of experience with the Salesforce system. “I saw an opportunity for its growth in the Middle East and embarked on this journey, by developing a market presence across the region.”
With over 150,000 customers globally and revenues of around $20 billion, Salesforce is the world’s leading platform for customer relationship management. Organisations use the system and its apps to organise, facilitate and digitise their sales, marketing, business development and service processes.
“We are 100% Salesforce certified experts and have expertise across all main industries and business functions. Changi Consulting builds and delivers cloud-based solutions focused on helping businesses accelerate, automate, and optimise their operations,” said Chkaiban.
According to the founder, the firm’s team – around 20-strong currently – has delivered over 240 projects since launching, including at clients such as Air Malta, Catena Media, Nissan, The Entertainer, Technal and Weber. “We pride ourselves on a top quartile customer satisfaction score, enabling us to build long-lasting relationships based on quality of delivery, trust, transparency, and integrity.”
As part of its approach to meet the local needs of clients in a diverse region, Changi Consulting’s team hails from 12 different countries and speaks 17 languages. This includes Lebanese-origin Georges Noun (Professional Services Director) and Ramy Zahran (Senior Engagement Manager), French-origin Guillaume Loiseau (Head of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud practice) and the South African Rudi Hulsbos (a Senior Consultant).
“Changi Consulting’s team are passionate, consultative and customer centric professionals,” said Robin Fisher, a Vice President at Salesforce responsible for Growth Markets including Middle Eastern countries. “Changi Consulting has assisted in creating the strong, ever growing Salesforce ecosystem we see in the Middle East. Congratulations on the birthday celebrations.”
Looking ahead, Chkaiban said that the company is eyeing further growth, seeking to capitalise on the rapidly unfolding opportunities offered by the region’s digital boom. “We are looking forward to another 10 years of helping companies across the region take their Salesforce operations to the next level as part of their digital transformation roadmaps,” concluded Chkaiban.
Salesforce consulting deals
Earlier this year, Wipro acquired Salesforce partner 4C – which also had a hub in the Middle East – for €68 million, while Cognizant and Infosys both also beefed up their Salesforce practices through inorganic moves. Cognizant acquired US-based Lev, while Infosys added Simplus, a 600-strong consultancy with operations in the US, the UK, the Philippines and Australia.
