Injazat and Larsen & Toubro Infotech team up for cloud offering
UAE digital transformation specialist Injazat has agreed a partnership with Larsen & Toubro Infotech, an international counterpart with over 30,000 employees globally.
The partnership with the global player will enable Injazat – which has offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Qatar – to deepen its digital offerings, particularly in the cloud domain. A subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, the Infotech division has over two decades of cloud experience globally, and a range of cloud toolsets such as LTI Mosaic and LTI Canvas that help its clients design, implement and maintain their applications and infrastructure in the cloud.
Khaled Al Melhi, CEO of Injazat, said of the partnership. “Digital is now default and our vision supports the UAE’s ambition to forge a digitally enabled future across the public and private sectors. Partnerring with LTI is an important part of our plan to provide digital transformation services our customers need.”
Injazat’s cloud proposition revolves around its InCloud platform, which according to the company “is scalable, supports business agility, and gives the ability to quickly pilot and roll-out new technologies.” On top of the platform, the company provides services including cloud advisory, migration services, as well as cloud security as a service and other managed services offerings.
Working in the cloud is known for its benefits such as agility, cost effectiveness and ability to replace legacy apps with modern versions. In addition, according to a recent report from KPMG, migrating to the cloud also can come with a sustainability edge, enabling a lower carbon emissions footprint.
The joining of forces between Injazat and Larsen & Toubro Infotech comes on the back of an existing relationship. Over the past period, the two digital transformation specialists teamed up to deliver successful projects such as Malaffi, a partnership with Abu Dhabi Department of Health to connect more than 2,000 healthcare providers; and Hassantuk, a collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Interior to install and operate state-of-the-art smart Alarm Transmission Equipment (ATE) in buildings across the emirates.
Meanwhile, for Larsen & Toubro Infotech, the alliance bolsters its regional footprint and offerings, explained Sudhir Chaturvedi, a President and Executive Board Member at the firm. “We are excited to partner with Injazat, a regional leader in business transformation and expand our partnership to deliver digital transformation programs to our customers and support them on their journey to the cloud.”
Sanjay Jalona, the CEO and Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro Infotech added: “Our partnership with Injazat will enhance performance and competitiveness of enterprises seeking digital and cloud-based transformation. We look forward to bringing industry and technology expertise along with global delivery capabilities to companies in the region.”
In related news, in October two other digital transformation specialists active in the region – Abacus Cambridge Partners and SNP – bundled their offerings in the SAP domain.
