Abacus wins S/4 HANA Cloud and SAP Business One awards
The Middle East division of Abacus has bagged two regional SAP awards, adding to its long list of trophies and accolades in the enterprise resource planning space.
A recipient of SAP’s Partner of the Year Awards for various categories over a decade, Abacus Cambridge Partners (Abacus) returned from SAP’s latest awards ceremony with two more prizes under its belt.
The first is for S/4 HANA Cloud, the fourth version of SAP’s flagship SAP Business Suite. Operating fully in the cloud, S/4 HANA Cloud is dubbed by SAP as the “next-generation intelligent ERP”, in part due to its power to enable real time execution of business processes.
According to the latest data from SAP, a total of 16,000 organisations globally have onboarded on S/4 HANA Cloud since its launch in February 2017. In the Middle East, Abacus has been a driving force in helping early adopters migrate to the system, and on the back of its track record the consultancy has been named ‘Partner of the Year Awards for Early Adopter S/4 HANA Cloud’.
The second prize was handed for the firm’s contribution to SAP Business One’s growth in the Middle East. SAP Business One is SAP’s mid-market enterprise solution, tailoring the company’s suite of modules across key business functions in financials, operations and human resources for the specifics of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Over the past twelve months, Abacus has advised and supported numerous organisations with rolling-out SAP Business One, including Diana Medical, a healthcare services provider in Saudi Arabia.
Commenting on the appreciation of its work, Abbas Ali Khan, the CEO of Abacus said: “We are humbled to be once again recognised by SAP for our continued contributions in driving digital transformations for our clients across the region. At Abacus, we are empowering our clients to leverage SAP technologies to gain results faster and become truly intelligent enterprises.”
“We believe the cloud has become a de-facto platform for achieving accelerated innovation. With our cloud transformation services, underpinned by our SAP partnership, we are working together with our clients to spark innovation and address complex business challenges around the globe.”
Abacus is a company specialised in digital transformation and technology services. The firm is headquartered in London, and has further offices in New York, Lahore, and three in the Middle East; in Dubai, Cairo and Riyadh.
