Rajesh Menon leads Baker Tilly's Middle East Advisory business
Global professional services firm Baker Tilly has installed a new leader for its Advisory division in the Middle East: Rajesh Menon.
Rajesh Menon brings nearly 25 years of experience in management consulting to Baker Tilly. Prior to joining the mid-market specialist, he was the Managing Partner of Beacon Consulting (a boutique Qatari advisory firm) and an associated advisor of Arthur D. Little (the world’s oldest consultancy).
Before that, Menon spent seventeen years with KPMG, latterly as Head of Consulting for Qatar and Bahrain, leading the firm’s offerings across strategy, business transformation, operations, finance, and people & change, among others. Earlier in his career, Menon also worked for Big Four rival Deloitte.
Leveraging his experience and network, Menon has now been tasked with leading Baker Tilly’s Advisory business in the region, as well as East Africa. He oversees a 100+ consulting team working across 50 different offices, including the Qatar office where he is based himself.
“An opportunity to lead and grow the powerful brand of Baker Tilly across the region, and providing solutions to our client’s business issues is a challenge that I greatly look forward to. Being an established and true business consulting house, we will support clients across the region with tailored advice, end-to-end service propositions and digital technology solutions.”
According to Mago Singh, the Group Managing Partner of Baker Tilly Middle East & Africa, Menon was the ideal candidate to deliver the firm’s growth ambitions in the advisory landscape. “He brings with him a deep understanding of the business landscape in the region and trusted client relationships. We are excited to have him on board.”
Singh founded Baker Tilly in the Middle East 40+ years ago, and today the regional division is punching above its weight in the accounting and advisory landscape. Ranked the 10th largest in the space worldwide, in the Middle East Baker Tilly places 5th on the back of its 500-strong workforce.
