James Raley and Suhas Anand join Heidrick Consulting
Global leadership and human capital consultancy Heidrick & Struggles has in the past months welcomed two new seniors to its consulting practice in Dubai.
Appointed a Principal, both James Raley and Suhas Anand brings extensive experience in management consulting to Heidrick Consulting, the global talent consultancy wing of leading executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles.
James Raley has been working in the Middle East for over a decade, most recently serving as the Commercial Director at PSI, having previously led talent management and assessment company Cubiks (a PSI subsidiary). Earlier in his career, he held leadership and project management roles at another consulting firm in the region.
At Heidrick Consulting, he will focus on leadership development, people analytics, talent advisory and people analytics for clients in a wide variety of industries including the government & public sector, energy, financial services, transport & aviation, pharma, telecoms, automotive, hospitality and retail.
Suhas Anand relocated to Dubai from India several months ago, where he most recently worked as India Managing Partner of ShARE, an edtech (founded by former BCG-er Sebastien Frendo) that provides leadership programme to students globally. Before that, Anand spent thirteen years at one of the globe’s most prestigious consulting firms: McKinsey & Company, latterly as an Associate Partner.
His work in the private sector was focused on strategy, organisation redesign, operating model and risk management for multinationals. Meanwhile, in the public sector work, he helped major government agencies (including in the Middle East) with energy, public sector and infrastructure transformations.
His track record in the region includes: defining the leadership strategy for an oil sector company in Kuwait, designing the corporate center for a Middle Eastern utility, leading strategy execution for a large national oil company in GCC, advising on a post-merger integration of gas producers in GCC, workforce planning for a an aluminium player, and defining the learning and development strategy for a sovereign wealth fund.
In the Middle East, Heidrick Consulting is led by Markus Wiesner – the former boss of Aon and Mercer.
