Julian Haslam-Jones leads Driver Trett’s UAE office

International construction consultancy Driver Trett has installed a new country manager for the UAE: Julian Haslam-Jones.

Julian Haslam-Jones joins the engineering consultancy from HKA, where he was a Director, based in Abu Dhabi. He brings nearly two decades of experience in commercial and contract positions with operators, contractors and consultants in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, where he has been based for over seven years. 

His experience spans contract, claims and cost management, alternative dispute resolution and arbitration, project and programme management, contract risk assessment, commercial management, procurement, negotiation/amicable settlement, mediation, arbitration, prolongation and delay costs, escalation, and project monitoring.

In the Middle East, Haslam-Jones mainly gained experience with oil and gas projects, as well as airports and utility companies, during his spells at HKA and before that Amec Foster Wheeler. Earlier in his career in the UK he also delivered projects for schools, offices, water and power plants, among others.
