Hope first gained experience in the region during his time at British group Balfour Beatty, when he worked on the Burj Al Arab Project in Dubai. After joining Atkins in 2000, he worked on several projects in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, relocating to the region and growing the ranks to become Managing Director for the Northern Gulf Region, Middle East and India.

Between 2012 and 2018, Hope was the Chief Executive Officer of SSH Design, which under his leadership managed to grow its headcount to 1,500 in the region and establish itself as an award-winning player in its segment. Most recently, Hope was an Executive Director on NEOM Industrial City, leading the development, design and construction of the 2,000 square kilometre geographical area in the South of NEOM (one of the world’s largest development projects).

At Egis, Hope has been tasked with spearheading the firm’s “significant growth plans for Saudi Arabia” across the fields of infrastructure, urban planning and buildings.
